Let me tell you something...that is only 4 out of possibly 20 stones that were in that little organ! They salvaged 4 that they could give to me - the rest go with the gallbladder to pathology!

The scar beneath my breasts is the only noticeable scar. There is also a scar on the cresent of the belly button and two tiny holes above my right hip. Had the surgery in February - never had a symptom other than the night I went into the Emergency Room with pain. First and last time. There were in all, appx. 15 to 20 stones. Pictured are the REAL stones. I think because I asked and there were so many they felt they could "score" a few without incident AND they probably all knew that I was referred to the surgeon by another very prominent member of their staff.

Awesome pic. Glad you're feeling better. It's crazy to think those things were inside of you. I know it sounds sick, but they're actually rather pretty.

Happy HNT!

Ouch, those stones look like pain. I've heard that gallstones and kidneystones are the worst pain.

Anyway, happy HNT!
