I am thankful for a warm and safe and happy childhood that brought me to where I am today. A happy and reasonably well-adjusted adult (ha!).
During the next couple days reflect on yourself and your surroundings and appreciate all that you have. And tell those around you that you are thankful they are a part of your life.
Enjoy the holiday and be safe when visiting and celebrating.
I am thankful for the friends I've made here.
It's nice to know that you can reach out to a friend in the Pacific Northwest or the Great Lakes area or Europe! Back in the day they called it pen pals and it was very well accepted.
Today it's cyber-friends, but people are judgemental that you have a friend you chat with online that you've never met. It doesn't diminish the value of the friendship.
I value the friendships made and wish you nothing but the best this holiday season.
