Passages

This morning I had the fortune (and I use that term loosely) to greet my ex who was taking my daughter and niece on vacation. He arrived first. Next we waited for my ex-brother-in-law whom I haven't seen in four years since my sister and he divorced. He cheated, and now the almost 50 year-old is married to his almost 30 year-old wife - the girl he cheated with. They now have a new baby. I was just glad that my ex was here first to go through that uncomfortable greeting with me. Made it a little easier having another person there. Although it was painful enough all the way around. This is the first time since I divorced, about a year and a-half ago that my ex is taking my daughter for any length of time. He did mention that I would have time to myself this week, as if he was giving me a gift. Turd.

Poison

So I cut the lawn a week ago Wednesday and now I am riddled with Poison Oak. The last 24 hours have been tough with new outbreaks on my legs and nothing will relieve the itching. I'm worried its going to get much worse...like when I was 9 and had to go to the hospital for a shot of Cortisone. I have a tree by the road where the Poison Oak is growing. First chance I get when its dormant...it's going to die!!! Yesterday I was probably only covered 5% but as of this morning I would say 15% of my body is covered and its reaching up toward my torso.

Lonely and bored...

Lonely and bored tonight
Reached out to many
No one there
I've been hoping to connect with an old school friend for many years
To my surprise I had an e-mail from another classmate
I feel opportunity coming

I should be at the beach...

...but instead I'm at work ~ canceled my beach plans. Nice long weekend, went to a cookout, had a cookout. But I should be in Narragansett, Rhode Island. Well, the weather sux so I should be glad that I didn't take the time off and sat at the beach in crummy weather.
