How appropriate!

How appropriate! I would die in a lover's arms and the Mr. Potatohead comment - PERFECT! As a psychic told me 3 years ago that the best is yet to come for me...that I was going to get the "big potato." I didn't realize he meant an actual potato!!!

H a l l o w e e n

My cat...joining in on the festivities. My male cat occassionally peeking out the window to see the kids, but then running when I open the door. He found it more enjoyable napping off the evening under his Lion King blanket.

TMI Tuesday

1. In a social setting, are you more of a talker or a listener?
I listen at first and “feel” the crowd and join in when/if appropriate.
2. Do you take compliments well?
I’ve learned to.
3. Are you judgmental?
I try not to be.
4. Do you like to pursue or be pursued?
I like to be pursued, who doesn’t? In the past, I have pursued.
5. Do you think more about the past, present or future?
The future.

Bonus (as in optional): Who do you hate? I try not to hate anyone, although I have a co-worker who won first place last week. Although he made a giant ass out of himself and used me as a target I find it difficult to hate him. I feel sorry for him. He did himself in publicly and now everyone thinks he’s an ass.

Bonus Bonus (it too is optional): Use three words to describe yourself. Integrity, faith, strength (the code I try to live by).

The Witches of Salem, Massachusetts

Off we go today on a bus trip in the pouring rain and wind to see the historical Salem, Masschusetts. We thought this would be a perfect Halloween event. Attractions include Frankenstein's Laboratory, various Witch Museums, a Cemetary Tour, Festival of the Dead, and recreations of Witch Trials.

TMI TUESDAY

1. How long have you known your closest current friend? (The one you see or talk to the most not necessarily your bestest goodest friend from grade school.) 20 years.

2. My Heritage has a cool little toy that tells you which celebrity you most resemble. With or without the help of My Heritage, who do you most resemble? A brunette young Loni Anderson.

3. Name 5 things an unplanned (or planned) visitor would find in your bedroom? A glider; exercise machine, framed photographs, a very large bed in a very large room, shoes all over the floor, DVD's.

4. What is your favorite TV or movie sex scene? Less Than Zero - When the two main characters "do it" in a narrow alley - they're standing, her back is up against the wall and her feet are using the opposite wall for leverage. It was a sexy scene.

5. If your life was a movie what would be your most memorable sex scene? (And your first time doesn't count unless that was as good as it has ever been.) In a car at a desserted park by the lake, wearing a skirt, being pleasured by his hands, and then he took his hand and very slowly put his fingers in his mouth and licked his fingers so he could taste what he was otherwise missing. It was the sexiest thing.

Bonus (as in optional): Share something that very few people know about you. The story above.

Threads of my life

Different events, another place in time, a song from long ago weave the fabric of our life...good, bad or indifferent. When I hear a certain song it can bring me right back to the first moment I heard it and bring back the very emotions I was feeling.

The photos above are a very small sample of my life. What you see above are some carefree times, contentment, and fun. What is missing above: one of the best days of my life, true love, sorrow. But all of these things combined make us what we are. I'd relive all of it and not change a moment of it because they are the very things that make me who I am today.

TMI Tuesday

1. What is your worst habit? Biting my bottom lip and trying to be inconspicuous about it.
2. Does size matter? No, performance and technique matter much more.
3. How many orgasms have you had in one night? Multi but euphoria keeps me from recollecting a specific number.
4. Is sex better with the lights on or off? Depends on the mood.
5. How many sexual partners have you had? If I tell you I'll have to kill you.
Bonus: Would you be unfaithful if you knew your guy/girl would never find out? No - it would never be a random act depending solely on the fortune of not being found out.

My weekend in a nutshell...

Cooking, baking and a little afternoon delight.
On the menu:
Chili (award winning recipe).
Pizza Gain: Italian dish that my ex requested. His girlfriend went to culinary school, yet she can't make it to his standards.
Mexican Nine Lyer Dip, a meal in itself.
And for dessert Caramel Bites; caramel is good on anything! A healthy snack with oats, caramel, mini-chocolate and peanut butter flavored chips.

And an early-afternoon tryst with my sweetie in between toting kids to football games and friend's houses and doing yard work we found time for ourselves.

Playing in the CD player today: Burt Bachrach "One Amazing Night", Carole King "Tapestry", ELO, Weather Report, "Heavy Weather", and Fleetwood Mac "The Dance".
